2010年華人的父親節(8/8)與情人節(8/16)相距約一週.父親節前一天很開心與友人全家相聚,友人將二伯的小孩也一起帶來同樂!

沒結婚前常會一起玩嘗試新鮮事物,婚後多年養兒育女雖然責任變重了,卻仍然可以找機會開心地像小孩般童心同心地玩,放下重擔製造全家共同的歡樂時光.

DEADLY EARTHQUAKE IN CHINA!! 地震襲青海

At least 400 people have died after an earthquake measuring almost 7 on the richter scale hit China's western Qinghai province. Officials say thousands of others may have been wounded and many buildings including schools have been destroyed. Rescue efforts are being hindered by landslides and debris blocking the roads. Aid workers say the death toll is likely to rise though survivors have been pulled from the rubble.

Technology indeed influences people's lifestyle and the way of communication in modern life deeply. Therefore, I spent time to explore the Farm Ville these two days. It seems it is the world of grandparents, granddaughters and grandsons, including some housewives and fewer computer professional.

這幾天花了些時間探索流行已久的開心農場,我發現我並不是很稱職的農夫.這個虛擬的英語世界的FarmVille並不如我所預期的容易管理與經營,無師自通很花時間.倒是幾位國內位的朋友都將自己的開心農場佈置得井然有序,開發得生氣恙然.相對來說,我好像與這個虛擬社交世界還保持著若干的防衛與距離.
總之,對我來說這農場費時費力對外行人來說並不那麼開心.先前朋友送的農場各項動物及五花八門的禮物都沒派上用場,因為太久不知如何使用都過期失效.最後還是請教外國朋友才知禮物要打開專屬的禮物櫃才能決定如何使用,是要販售或是置於農場.

後來我發現這臉書公司已開發了一系列的社交工具,包括寵物世界,咖啡世界,水族魚世界等等,每一個世界都分各種等級. 另有一共通設計就是有各樣免費禮物贈送,目的是讓人邀請更多朋友加入使用. 其次也類似,就是需要邀請朋友成為該世界的鄰居或經常拜訪朋友的農場或店面就能獲得獎賞.
我仍在研究這網路工具,了解它能讓基督徒與非基督徒都參與的原因.如何善用這吸引和聯繫全世界各族群的網路虛擬社交工具及族群互動模式的特色呢?若有進一步發現再與各位分享.

I give thanks to God. Yesterday I attended the wedding of the son of my student, I saw my student's happy tears. I thought of the heavenly wedding in the future. Can you image that?!
感謝神,昨天參加我一位學生兒子的婚禮,我看見我的學生喜極而泣. 母親,真是女人最美的名字.我也看見其他學生與教會牧長傳道同工弟兄姊妹們如何盡心協助辦喜事,一同歡喜快樂渡過美好的一天.
